Powermatic 1790825 WB-25 25" Wide Belt Sander, 15 HP 3 Phase, 230-460V

The Powermatic 1790825 is a 25" Wide Belt Sander. The centralized controls allow user to access all the needed buttons right on one simple panel for more convenience and the variable feed speed belt allows to accurately dial in the exact feed speed to best suit the project and work environment. The digital readout shows the exact thickness of the finished piece or will allow the user to preset exactly what thickness they would prefer for the finished piece. The disc brake slows the machine quickly and kicks in to quickly stop the machine in an emergency. It prevents the belt from running off the end of the drums as well as uses the sanding surface more uniformly without leaving sanding lines on the work piece. The three motor system allows for maximum horsepower to feeds the drive drums, a second smaller motor to directly power the VS feed belt and a third smaller motor to easily and automatically power the feed table up and down to the desired thickness.
