The Powermatic 1791256 is an Edge Sander. The sander has front and end tables which move up and down the full range of the belt and a graphite covered steel platen. The table has a workstop and the belt tension is adjusted with a single knob and controls are mounted above the machine for easy access. The front table inclines, which can offer better sanding surface contact and decrease sanding marks and burr residue.
