Powermatic 1791290 – Model DDS225 is a dual drum sander with a powerful 5HP motor. The durometer rubber coating on the dual steel drums provides for a flat and mar free finishing and sanding. The adjustable rear drum makes calibration easy. The Powermatic DDS225 dual drum sander has a ¼ HP motor, which is coupled to a 2-speed gearbox for sanding 8 and 10 surface feet per minute.
The dual drum ensures less paper change and less number of passes to get the perfectly sanded surface. The sander works perfectly even if one overdoes the sand in a single pass. The heavy steel cabinet minimizes vibration while sanding and also provides abundant of storage space underneath. With 230 V, the dual drum sander assures higher sanding performance.
