The Milwaukee 2872-20 M18 Threaded Rod Cutter is a dedicated cordless cutting solution for common threaded rod sizes used on professional jobsites. Its brushless motor cuts coarse-thread mild steel rod in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" sizes, as well as 1/4" and 3/8" stainless steel rod.
Powered by the Milwaukee M18 battery system, this cutter delivers more than 400 cuts when used with an M18 REDLITHIUM 2.0Ah battery. Its four-sided rotatable cutting dies accommodate multiple rod sizes, while optimized blade geometry produces clean, burr-free cuts that allow nuts to be threaded on by hand without filing the cut ends.
